Only a 10 minute drive from downtown and 4 minutes from the beach, this suite is in a classy but unpretentious home in the Ocean Beach/Point Loma area. This beautiful, private suite is actually attached to the home, however, is a completely separate unit locked off from the house with a separate entrance, feeling like a private studio.
Queen-sized bed with sumptuous, soft, European-style linens and TempurPedic-style mattress topper. Private “en suite” bathroom (fully inside your room), light food area, private sitting area, private patio/table, and a private entrance, thus giving you complete privacy and independence from us.
No kitchen is available, however, your room has a mini-frig, microwave, and coffeemaker. Some light breakfast items are provided.
Relax in the beautiful, quiet garden out back, or inside with your own private TV (with cable) and WiFi.
*MUST LOVE DOGS! Your warm and friendly hosts have a friendly black Lab dog “Cleo” who brings a homey feel to your stay but we want to make sure you understand that she is a young, large, and energetic black Lab who has free access throughout the entire yard. :)*
The funky, artsy community of Ocean Beach is nearby, complete with antique shops and unique eateries. Although the village and beach is within walking distance, the walk home is up hill. And although public transportation is nearby, we wouldn’t recommend relying on it as it is not all that easy to use. Uber or Lyft can help, but we recommend having a car while in San Diego.The biggest and most eclectic Farmers’ Market in San Diego is a must see on Wednesday evenings.

Best of all, you will be conveniently located to everything you will want to experience in San Diego… just up the hill from several beautiful beaches, close to the airport and Sea World, and very near to downtown and the Zoo. In the summer months, you can experience the fantastic fireworks display at Sea World from the beauty of the home.
